Viking Semiconductor was established in the Southeast United States by a team of industry veterans who saw a gap in the independent distribution market. Too many distributors were prioritizing volume over service, leaving engineers and procurement teams scrambling when supply chains tightened.

Founder & President
Frank Cullen brings 30 years of electronic components sales experience to Viking Semiconductor. He began his career at Avnet — one of the world's largest distributors — where he developed deep expertise in component sourcing, customer relationships, and the realities of supply chain pressure.
After years working across the industry, Frank saw a consistent problem: as distributors grew larger, their customers got smaller in priority. Engineers and procurement teams were left chasing quotes, waiting on callbacks, and accepting substandard service as the norm.
Frank founded Viking Semiconductor to change that. Built around the clients he'd spent decades serving, Viking is a business where every customer gets the attention, speed, and expertise they deserve — from day one.
